Sigh..... common let's do the thing that I usually do....recap.....the more interesting ones that is....
Yeah, the last time I was talking about some clashes about the friend' birthday lunch thingy and the wana go out with beau thingy. Well, in the end there wasn't much of a rift as my beau sadly could go out with me on that day that I wanted us to go out so much. well, Let's see what happened yesterday: (today will be on another blog)
Well, as you knoe yesterday, many schools celebrated national day and I was wondering the night before whether or not to go to scool. I really couldn't decide. then the next morning, my maid waked me up as usual but I was late and given that I gotta rush like mad to school and risk being late I went back to sleep again, tht is the main reason why I didn't turn up in school.
Then the lunch thingy wasn't a very nice thingy in the beginning part. It was like on my way there to tamp mall seoul garden then they suden changed the venue to swensens at tampiness and I was kinda pissed for a while as the change was pretty much unexpected and I was afraid that I won't have enough cash with me. Then there is also about the buying of present that really oissed me a little too, guess I am irritable these days...get to the present in a while.Within the first few minutes that I was there, I saw that my best friend who was seating opposite me had the pendent of her necklace falling out of her shirt an immediately I recognised that all too familiar pendent. I asked her expectantly if that was Arwen's Star and off course I got positive answer then she was like how I know...why won't I know? I am a mega LOTR fan man. then into the lunch awhile, I also spotted that her boyfriend was wearing a necklass that had a ring through it and it was fake gold in colour and there were some dark marking on the ring. Then I ask if that was the One Ring and again, of course I was right. Then came the qn how did I know man....and the same answer goes.
Then I was guilty yesterday during lunch for I was feeling embarassed about my other best friend. Yeah, I am guilty because she is my best friend after all. Well, you see, she was very very undecisive about what she wanted to order and kept on asking and asking if this or that or whatever is a set meal or something. Then the thing about this friend of mine is that there is just something wrong with her, she gets worked up in most of her conversation and was moving her hands heara and there, holding her hair down against her neck and such. It totally wasn't a verynice way to be behaving at a full house pretty ok resturant. And she was like saying that she prefers seoul garden because you can just grab all the food and not decide at all. man what kind of a thought is that??! I am totally lost for words.
Oh ya, the staff there was terrible yesterday. When the waiter tried to serve diagonially across me to my best friend the b'day girl's boyfriend, He stepped on my foot! then he didn't say anything and stepped back, moved more to the centre and served. That was totally not at all good service! Then they also had mix ups about our oder on a topless 5 ice cream and man it was just horrible. When we asked that the ice cream to be served, we asked a few times before they finally realised and came and ask what flavours would go and then when they served, they only got 3 of the 5 correct. My best friend, the non-b'day girl was the one who ordered it and hse was ok and am fine about it but was complaining at the same time. Then, he waiter came again and give us another topless 5 of he correct flavour. the thing is that they chocked up bad, there was only 1 order but they made it 2. Stupid people!
Then I was kind of irritataed but I wasn't showing it much most of the time and was still irritatedby her buying the b'day gal a present thingy. The thing was that I asked her before hand a few times if she wana meet and go town or something to get the present and then she will rebuttal me about the me being obsessed about town. Well, firstly, I need to acknowlegde that I am. But certainly I have my reasons. The thing is that we all know that shops under the same brand don't always carry the same whole set of their goods and orchard being the largest place where all commercial business has gathered to make the consumers maoney, off course we go there for more variety in whateer we are finding. Then the other thing is that Singapore being such a puny islan certainly does not have much happening thngs going on and if you are going to be sian, I rather be sian in town than to be sian and am stranded in some small heartland town. She certainly just hate going to town and I can never see the reason why. And I was totally irritated by me being at tampiness rushing madly with this best friend of mine and another girl fomr the swensens to God knows where. The thing is that she actually said that we will meet before the lunch and get the present and I questioned whether we will really have that enough time and she was certain, confident that her plan will work. Then it turns out that I end up rushing with the to get a present from tampiness mall in 10 mins so that we can rush to pass it to the b'day gal before she goes into the cinema with a boyfriend. the worst part was all the 3 of us are totally unfamiliar wth what kind of goods can we find in the area etc...so much so for a good plan eh? Madnness it was......
Tampiness mall wass so totally uncool, it was a small place with lots of shops packed into it and there were lots and lots of school kids and there was some music blasting from the main floor for the whole building to listen....more of being irritating man...I felt totally stranded from the rest of the happening world. Here come's the other part about this best friend of mine who pissed me off some more. She always doesn't habe time. the thing is hat I can never remember a time in the past about 8 years that she wasn't rushing to somewhere to do something. the only time that she would have with you is that the next meeting time is still a little away. Certainly, I do not know what the hell is she up o always. Ans once again, after lunch she plans to rush home to study. Man, I was like, get a life will you, at least you could change the words a little and say theat you are taking a stroll home to study. totally madness again........hat is she always up to? This is also the main reason why of my 2 best friends, I am more closer to the other than her since she is constantly busy with Gor knows what.
Then I totally didn't want to go home yet cause I think it is totally weird to dress well to go for lunch and then go home? So I called my only close malayalee friend out and we went to town to watch the village. We watched the digital version and the whole storey was otally good in terms of thinking level, again a beautiful twist in the end like that of The Six Sense and The Others. A good story indeed. You have got the whole show with the setting of the early English kind of 19th century village that is surrounded by dense forest. there is suppose to be "those whom we do not speak of" that was in the woods and something about a truce between the villagers and "those we do not speak of". There is a simple love storey between a blind girl and a young docter. Certainly being a scary movie it had some of those close encounter with the "monster". Out of jelousy, a retarded man stabbed the financee of the blind girl that he is fond of when word spreads that the couple intends to get married. The girl then sets out to cross the forest to go town and get medicine for her love. Then we were revealed of the first twist. The monsters are legendary, and made to exist in this present day by the elders who will wear this custome and scare the villagers not to cross the village's border. there aremore juicy things in her journey. Then the largets twist was that, sh ran to the end of the roah to town and found herself infront of some high structure that was covered with vegetation. She climbs over and the audience are in for a shock. It was a high wall in the middle of a nature reserve in the morden world. then off cause all ends well asshe managed to get to medicine with the help of a Ranger and did not reveal much about the place she came from. It turns out that the elders were a group of young people in the city of the 1960s and all had some misfortune onto their close ones and one day decided to make a village and live life in the past, preserve Man's innocence in a nature reserve and borrow the legend to keep their descendants and such in the village. Cool huh?
Then my friend and I had a great time wth her stealing and altering slightly my suggestions on what to do later. In the end, we had ice cream at Swensens opposite Paragorn and she also had a slight meal. It was a totally enjoyable day because of my time spent with my malayalee friend, not the lunch.
